Oopbuy link converter

Last updated .

Quick answer: Paste any Taobao, Tmall, Weidian or 1688 link, or a spreadsheet link built for another agent, and the converter returns the matching Oopbuy product link. It reads the marketplace item number inside the link and rebuilds it in Oopbuy's format. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you paste is sent anywhere.

Convert a link

How the converter works

Every product link from a Chinese marketplace, and every spreadsheet link built for an agent, contains one important piece of information: the marketplace's own item number. A Weidian item has an item ID, a Taobao item has an ID, and a 1688 listing has an offer number. Agents wrap that number in their own link formats, but the number itself doesn't change.

The converter looks for that number. If the link is a marketplace link, it reads the ID directly. If it is an agent link, it looks for the original marketplace link inside it, or for a platform name and ID, and extracts the number from there. It then rebuilds the link in Oopbuy's format:

PlatformOopbuy link format
Taobao / Tmalloopbuy.com/product/<item ID>
Weidianoopbuy.com/product/weidian/<item ID>
1688oopbuy.com/product/1688/<offer ID>

The item number is the real product; the converter just changes the wrapper.

Supported link types

  • Marketplace links: Taobao and Tmall item pages, Weidian item pages, 1688 offer pages, including mobile versions.
  • Agent links that wrap the original URL, such as Kakobuy and Superbuy formats with a url= parameter.
  • Agent links with a shop type and ID, such as CNFans, ACBuy and similar formats.
  • CSSBuy item paths for Taobao, Weidian and 1688.
  • Oopbuy links, if you want to clean one up or check its platform.
  • Links inside text: paste a whole message and the converter picks out the first link.

If a format isn't recognised, the manual option lets you choose the platform and type the item number yourself.

Most spreadsheet and agent links convert in one paste; the manual box covers the rest.

Moving a whole spreadsheet

The converter handles one link at a time. For a long Google Sheet, extract item numbers in bulk first with a formula such as =REGEXEXTRACT(A2,"\d{8,}"), then build Oopbuy links from them using the formats above. Spot-check a few rows: some links contain other long numbers, like shop IDs. The CNFans migration guide walks through this for sheets built for agents that have shut down.

Use the formula for bulk moves and this tool for checking individual rows.

After converting: check before you buy

  1. Open the Oopbuy link and check that photos, price range and variants match the original.
  2. If Oopbuy says the item isn't found, the seller may have removed or re-listed it. Search the item title, or browse current finds on Oopbuy links.
  3. Look up recent QC photos of the listing in a QC finder before ordering; the QC guide explains how.
  4. Check sizes against the seller's chart in centimetres.

A converted link points to the same listing; whether it is still live depends on the seller.

Privacy

The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Links you paste are not sent to this site or anywhere else, and nothing is stored after you leave the page. The converter only builds a link; ordering, payment and your account all happen on oopbuy.com. For the full ordering process, see how to order from Oopbuy.

FAQ

Which links does the converter support?

Taobao and Tmall item links, Weidian item links, 1688 offer links, Oopbuy links, and agent links that contain the original marketplace link or a shop type plus item ID, such as Kakobuy, Superbuy, CNFans, ACBuy and CSSBuy formats.

Does it work with CNFans and ACBuy links after they shut down?

Yes. The links still contain the marketplace item number, which the converter extracts and rebuilds as an Oopbuy link. Whether the item is still for sale depends on the seller.

Is anything I paste sent to a server?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser.

What if my link isn't recognised?

Choose the platform and type the item number manually. The item number is the long string of digits in the original link.

What do Oopbuy links look like?

Taobao items use oopbuy.com/product/ followed by the item ID; Weidian items add /weidian/, and 1688 items add /1688/ before the ID.
